Mediation / ArbitrationSometimes, couples can solve what seemed to be insurmountable differences with outside assistance. Mediation is intended to help couples come to an amicable resolution. Arbitration, on the other hand, offers parents a binding decision which provides them with an alternative to the substantial time and expense of using lawyers and judges. I am trained to do mediation, arbitration, or med-arb. Parenting CoordinatorA parenting coordinator will work with a couple who either has trouble dealing directly with one another, or simply cannot agree on basic parenting issues. Supervised ParentingIn some situations, a judge will order that a parent's time with a child be supervised. I offer parents and children a safe, non-threatening and friendly environment, and assist in developing the parent-child relationship with the goal of rendering supervision unnecessary. |
